Frequently asked questions

What the Wild Calf Coffee MCP is meant to do.

What is the Wild Calf Coffee MCP?

It is a tool in development that is meant to let compatible AI assistants help with coffee choices, brewing guidance, training, and subscription tasks using Wild Calf’s current catalog and rules.

Why are you building it?

Coffee gets complicated fast. The goal is to let someone ask a plain question and get a useful answer tied to the coffee they actually have.

What will a bag scan do?

A bag code is planned to connect the coffee and roast information with freshness guidance, a practical starting recipe, product background, and a direct path back to Wild Calf.

Is it only for home coffee drinkers?

No. The work includes separate paths for home users, offices, and cafes. Cafe training is aimed at helping owners train new baristas consistently when turnover is high.

Can it help with subscriptions?

That is part of the plan. The MCP is being designed to help shoppers understand their choices and work with delivery timing while keeping the final cart and checkout decision in the customer’s hands.

Will it replace a person?

No. It should handle repeatable questions and training, then make it easier to reach a person when the answer needs judgment.

Which AI assistants will support it?

Compatibility testing is still underway. We will list supported assistants only after each connection is verified.

What information will it use?

The planned experience uses the information needed for the request, such as the coffee, bag code, brew setup, or delivery choice. Exact storage and retention details will be published before public access.

Is it available now?

Not yet. It is in development. If you want to test it, tell us whether you would use it at home, in an office, or in a cafe.
